Really nice quality hatchet Really nice quality hatchet. Only nit is the handle is lacquered and therefore somewhat slippery. Not the best feature in this type of product. You might want to consider roughing it up or wrapping the handle with grip tape.

It’s small enough to easily store in small … While camping, we realised that after collecting dead wood, we would sometimes find a huge bough too thick to brake and had to “try” to burn it in the middle to split it with fire. Not really safe on a campgroung. So I shopped and found this axe. It’s perfect. It’s small enough to easily store in small compartment but heavy duty enough that I can surely use with confidence. One end split, the other smash. The handle has rubber for a good grip and I know I won’t have any problem to use…
It will last forever! This is an amazing splitting axe! I use it for splitting kindling for our outdoor campfires and it works great! I had originally purchased a cheap $10 axe from a large retailer and it was super dull and basically worthless. This axe came very sharp from the factory and the difference is night and day! The only problem I have had is that it was supposed to come with a leather sheath and it didn’t. However, when I contacted Amazon about this they took care of my issue right away on the first…
