They love them. they actually reach very far bought this for my boys for Christmas. They love them. they actually reach very far… One of their friends got the same ones and can talk to each other from inside the houses which are about a block or so away. have never had any issues. would recommend these to anyone looking for a good cheap set for kids
I wrote an in depth paragraph about the charging docks … I wrote an in depth paragraph about the charging docks have only a usb port. The manual shows actual plugs at the end of cord for electrical sockets. I feel this should be provided. Even if people have spare cell phone adapters they may not provide the right voltage to ensure to not damage the walkie-talkies.
Perfect walkies for a cross-country trip; Headset is just okay. Used these walkies during a cross-country road trip to communicate between cars. Signal stayed strong the whole time and the battery charge lasted almost the entire 10-hour day for every day of the trip. When they did die, they were easily placed in the charging dock and could continue to be used while charging. The down side is the headset. It was hard to hear messages through the headset, and sometime messages got scrambled and cut-off. When the headset was taken off, the walkies…
