They light fine, but as the fluid in the match heats … These things don’t really work very well. I think I’d prefer to just get a lighter. They light fine, but as the fluid in the match heats up it burns super fast and makes a huge flame. Then you start to burn the wick if you’re not careful. They’re cheap though so it’s not really a big deal. I just eneded up liking other fire lighting methods more
