Great Beginner’s guide to Multi-Meters!! I love this book. I made it required reading for a class I taught on IoT. It is a very clear and straightforward book for the complete novice/beginner. I will definitely buy his other books!
Extremely helpful I finally understand how to use a multimeter! Iâve had several, always struggled because I didnât know what each function was for or how to use it. This is the first book Iâve found that lays it all out in an easy to understand manner.
Ok intro to someone new to using a multimeter Couple small problems, but otherwise good basic introduction to multimeter.In one place, he says a multimeter measures resistance by sending “a small electricity” from one test probe through the part being tested and back to the meter through the other probe. True, but would be better called a current. The he says “the time it takes for the electricity to travel through the test piece and back to the meter is directly related to the resistance measurement it will display…
