First time’s a charm The Plow & Hearth Fatwood was a first time buy for me. The pieces are very uniform…so they’re easy to put in smaller boxes for storage for use later. I average about 3 sticks to start fires in our fire pit. They work very well at providing a long-lasting heat to get the wood burning.
but I can’t complain both were packed about 5 or 6 pounds more these little sticks start a nice fire without any news paper first time I ordered a 35 lb box this time a 40 both came in identical sized boxes , but I can’t complain both were packed about 5 or 6 pounds morethese little sticks start a nice fire without any news paper , I use around 6 sticks stacked light them let them catch good than add a small log to start than build off that . I’m thinking 3 more boxes to get through winter , I will find out this week end how they work on campfires
