Lightweight, inexpensive striker that works well with good pressure applied Good, effective striker. You must apply fairly hard pressure while striking along the same line 3-5 times to start get a good fire-starting spark. If you rotate the magnesium material you will need 3-5 strikes again along the new line to start getting good sparks. A rubber band is recommended to hold metal striker and magnesium pole together while stored. Overall, a lightweight, inexpensive striker that works well.
