Gift for young kids I bought these as a gift for my son. They work well and sound clear and loud when you talk. The only negative is the amount of batteries needed. It takes 8 AAA batteries to power these, it would be nice if they had a rechargeable battery.
Came just in time for our Bear Mountain trip I got these to give my 7- year old daughter a little more freedom. Our trip to Bear Mountain was the perfect time to test them out. I let her go hiking with her friends and their parents, but wanted updates throughout the climb. (of course, my lazy butt wanted to stay at the bottom and be the designated BBQ chef for the group). It was easy to figure out how to operate the devices. I told my daughter to keep it at channel 9 at all times. I called out for her a few times, in which she responded…
Communication without network!! These are soo cute, reminds me of my childhood. The quality is good for the price. I got the orange set as they are for a boy and girl, they loved it. The only thing I think would have been better is if they had a charging port, except that it’s pretty good. The range seems to be okay. I like the idea of not using mobiles and still being able to communicate and much needed for our camping!!
