Perfect hiking boot! I took these boots out on their first hike last weekend and they performed perfectly! They were comfortable, and provided good traction and ankle support. My only complaint would be that my socks started to rub a little around the ankle area after an hour or so, but it wasn’t excessive and I’m going to invest in a pair of proper hiking socks and assume this will likely resolve the issue. Overall a solid boot, and cute too!
Stylish. Comfortable. Functional. (RUN A TAD LARGE). LOVE these boots. I bought them for an anticipated trip to Banff Ntl Park and wanted something stylish that I could wear around town yet function well while hiking. They do run a tad large. I’m normally an average 7, but ordered a 6.5 per REI’s recommendation on their website, but I think I could have gone down to a 6, even, but wasn’t worth exchanging. Traction is great. Haven’t tested the waterproof abilities yet. No break-in period needed. Can’t wait to get great use out of these…
Cute boot, but not great for long hikes I’ve worn these out on the trail 8-10 times now including in snowy conditions and warmer weather (60s-70s). I normally wear a 6.5 or 7, so I bought the 6.5. I would recommend going down a half size, as the 6.5s were a little too big even with thick socks on, so they rub on my heels and gave me blisters on longer hikes. If you downsize, you shouldn’t have a problem with blisters as long as you lace them up tight.Wish there was some arch support, but for shorter hikes, they’re…
