I like this kit. Fairly compact & has every thing you need in one case. The canteen holds over a quart. The only thing I would like to change is for it to have 2 large metal cups. And I must admit I haven’t tried to use the can opener yet, that thing looks rather iffy. In the cup I can fit an 18 1/2 oz. can of soup + a cup of dried potato’s.
Typical surplus Bought for the kids Bob stuff. 1 new and 1 used. Had the typical longterm storage dirt and smell. Top racked the plastic and bottom racked the metal in the dishwasher. Add a little hand scrubbing to the problem spots and good to go. Knife with the accessories is a great addition having a bottle opener and p38 type can opener built into the handle.
