Just what I expected This is the smartest thing out there for backpackers. This set is also ideal for travelers, car campers, picnics or eco-conscious lunches at work. It’s hard to believe the simple shapes create such useful containers. I love the bowl size, great for a hearty pasta dish and doesn’t get too hot to hold even when loaded with a hot pasta dish. A must have for any serious back packer! I can’t say enough good things about this set. I went on a 10 day backpacking trip and just took the bowl. I LOVE that it stores flat (I was able to put it up against the side of my pack) and is light weight! When I was done eating I would open the whole thing up and lick it clean. This made cleanup SUPER easy!
An excelent addition to an ultralight backpacking kit. So I bought this set for my Ultralight backpacking kit, and I love it! Superlight, ultra-compact.I did encounter a problem, one of the snaps (on the dish) came broken. I contacted Amazon customer services with the problem, I was contacted back on the same day, and the problem was resolved and a replacement was given two day priority shipping with no charge.
