Not a Military 550 Paracord – MIL-C-5040-H, Type III: Not a Military 550 Paracord – MIL-C-5040-H, Type III:Type III should contain 7 strand core and each core should contain 3 lines. This one was build using only 2 lines per strand and it does not contained manufacturer identifiable color markings on one of them. this one is priced the same as original military grade para-cord.This is a pure commercial version of para-cord. To be fare overall quality is very good and shipping is fast.

Worked Great for Hanging String Lights I used this to hang commercial grade string lights from the trees around my permanent camp site. Was plenty strong to do multiple spans around 40 feet or so. Did some research on appropriate knots for lines in tension and has weathered a few storms already without any problems. Didn’t cost much and will be easy to cut down when the time comes.
