Great bundle for the price, except! Love the items that come with this package deal, especially the price. Garmin 64st is more than what I expected, but has complicated levels of use and some instructions are vague. The batteries seem to drain too fast, not the 16hrs. of use as described. The charger does not indicate when the batteries are fully charged, so not sure if batteries are fully charged when I place then in the GPS
EXCELLENT!! But the download manual SUCKS. Service, shipping, etc. from the vendor was OUTSTANDING, no problems there. I had an older GPSMAP 60CSx that isn’t supported anymore on Geocaching.com. I was happy with it for years and I am happy with this one so far. I’m still working out some of the new bells and whistles like bluetooth but, that will come. It is kind of irritating to not have a regular manual come with it. And when I downloaded one from Garmin, it was a generic one for all the 64 models, simplistic with little detail and…
Garmin will get you there! hubby seems pretty happy with this gift & is having lots of fun checking out all the features. Would recommend getting the glass screen protector as well, which doesn’t cause any issues seeing the screen and will protect your investment. The “kit” is great too: memory card, nice carrying case, belt clip and the light is my favorite – flashes S.O.S. for you and is very bright.
