Great Piece of Gear! …Had a Garmin Hard Carrying Case for my Oregon 450t for several years; I’m completely pleased with it. The negative reviews have me puzzled. Perhaps the reviewers want something more compact. Too big and bulky This carry case for the Garmin Oregon GPS is too big and bulky to use. It looks like it was designed for the Colorado model and they just applied it to the Oregon model. Sure it works, but it is way to tall. It could be an inch shorter. The Oregon mounts inside via an attach strap and velcro which puts it at the far bottom end with an inch of dead space at the top. Also, it is way too thick (2.25″), as it has to be to accomodate that big attach clip and velcro inside. And the attach strap…

Good case/protector Cons: It’s a little clunky, doesn’t seal but since the GPS is waterproof it doesn’t have to. For the size I would have liked to have seen a pocket/slot for extra batteries. It’s a little tricky getting the GPS off of it to change batteries or to just use without the case.Pros: The GPS is held very secure inside the case and will not accidentally fall out when opened.
