My most-used outdoor accessory!! UPDATE — Any reservations about this product have disappeared. After 1 year it is my most-utilized outdoor accessory. A true PLB is still the better rescue option, and a dedicated Garmin GPS, with routing options (Automobile, Hiking, etc.) rather than direct-(straight-line)routing-only is a better on-the-fly GPS.
