DO NOT BUY THIS GPS DEVICE…IT’S DEFECTIVE PER GARMIN DO NOT BUY THIS GPS DEVICE from Amazon. Apparently they received an undetermined amount of these GPS devices that are defective. I learned this after talking to a Garmin representative. The Garmin Rep told me the product is known to be defective yet neither Amazon nor Garmin did anything about it. Don’t worry about reflections I just returned from a two week trip in which we covered about 2500 miles across 4 states. I must say the 2589 lmt performed admirably the whole trip. In my opinion it is the perfect screen size for a vehicle GPS. Big enough to give you lots of info. yet small enough not to be in the way. Other reviewers mentioned the glare from the screen being an issue. I did not find this to be an issue at all. Be ready to pay another $70 if you want Traffic. The included car charger does not recieve the HD FM broadcast. Sold under the misconception that everything you need for traffic is in the box. Garmin does not make it clear on their website or in the product manual that it does not come with the car charger with the required receiver built in. The seller must have seen other reviews stating this. Shame on you, the seller, for not making this clear.The include cable, the “TA10”, is packaged with many units, straight from Garmin.
