Great for the Money…. I bought this for my GPSMap 64s, as the 64 series and 62 series are the same externally. The case came promptly and fits snug and perfectly! I wanted this just as protection when the GPS is banging around in the car (I usually keep it in a door pocket) but sometimes I keep the case on the unit while Geocaching. It isn’t a problem pushing the buttons through the clear plastic. The only negative I can think of is that sometimes reflections on the plastic cover make the screen harder to read -…

it great. BU I am on a SAR Team It an ok product. Actually it does what it should, but it almost impossible to work the GPS. As a travel protector, or if you leave the GPS in it for long travel legs, it great. BU I am on a SAR Team, and I have it out in my hand 50% of the time marking points and such. With that said, it protects the GPS as it should, but it makes using the GPS buttons almost impossible.

After nearly 2 years, here is my review Having geocached since 2003 I’ve gone through several gps units including the Garmin Map 60cx, 62s and just recently purchased a 64s. I learned from the Map 60cx (used 2009 to 2011) that the print on the buttons wear off easily. So when my Map 62s came along in 2011, I made sure to get a protective case. This was and still is the only reasonably priced case around it seems. The clear plastic on top protects but it does make it hard to hit the buttons. Eventually scratches appeared on the screen…
