Good tool. However Good tool. However, make sure you can use universal blades. I would research it more thoroughly, but really haven’t used up the factory blades yet, so this is not much of a concern for me though. I’m thinking that you might be stuck buying Genesis blades, which might be hard to find or expensive. Do the research.

Poorly performing tool with slow warranty service My experience with this tool has been quite unsatisfactory. I used it to make two small cuts in a piece of metal without incident. The second time I turned it on, to do some detail sanding, it ran briefly, then ran intermittently, then stopped altogether. I returned the product to the company at my own expense and waited a month to receive a replacement.

A terrific tool for the money. It is a god little machine. Should be part of every woodworkers shop. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 , only because it is a vey loud power tool, and as far as getting into tight corners ,it does it very well, but expect to wear out plenty of sanding pads on the edges only, leaving a perfectly good sanding surface in the center. For a recent project I was working on a concaved pad would have been better rather than the flat one. I ended up using the finger attachment on my Black and Decker…
