Not made of brass – it’s stainless steel I purchased this particular item because I thought it was made of brass, but it is not. It must just be coated in brass. It is engraved with “stainless steel” on one side.

I love this knife I love this knife, found it at a store while I was on a trip back east and had to order since I couldn’t take it on the plane – so happy Amazon had it. It’s super sharp and very cute. Not just for gentlemen 🙂
