Thin blade edge will be bent with any significant use. These are real popular and its a fair at best value with the sheath. This is a thin blade for a machete, and its better used only on brush and vines. In a harsh environment or a job with heavier brush/limbs, a thick blade, like those on a “Brazilian Machete” would be a better option.
