An updated version of the original Swagger, the Swagger AO features Gerber’s new Assisted Opening 2.0 mechanism, which provides ultra-quick blade deployment. The G-10 handle sc ales offer an excellent grip surface. The black coated drop-point blade features partial serrations, making the Swagger AO a great every-day-carry tactical knife.

Currently my favorite everyday knife. This has become my everyday carry knife. It is light and easy to carry in a pocket. My use is as a toll, cutting wire ties, rope, string, tape, and opening boxes.I do have to clean the pocket lint out of the hinge mechanism every now and then. The lint builds up and the knife won;t lock in the open position. That’s a result of carrying it in the bottom of a pocket and not using the clip.

It’s a knife, nothing more What are you using this knife for?? I have read way too many reviews complaining about this knife being too hard to open. If you are looking for a pricey knife to show off and wave around and play with all day, this knife will leave you disappointed and your thumb very, very sore! BEST POCKET KNIFE EVER! This is hands down the best pocket knife ever made by Gerber. I don’t know why all these people are having issues opening the knife but I guarantee it’s user error. They are always a tiny sticky at first but after you open it a lot then it gets smooth very fast. I usually spend 30 minutes to and hour while I’m doing other things to keep opening and and closing it. After a day or 2 it’s perfect.
