Finally, and EDC multitool that I actually have with me when I need it. I have a drawer full of multi tools. I have them in tool boxes, my first aid kits and gun bags. But I never have one with me when I am out and about. This is the first one that I can put on my key chain that does everything that I need in a pinch.
Nice little tool for quick tasks and very small and compact. Have this and a couple of the Gerber Dime. Think I like the Dime a little better, but for the price it’s hard to beat. But have to confess, picked up a couple of products tagged by Cabela’s during their November sale that seem to be identical. Paid $5.99 for them, so almost 50% less. Well see if they hold up as the same as the Vise does. Also have to add in about Gerber’s Customer Service. One of the Dime’s I purchased last year had one of the outer scales fall off. OK multitool, the Leatherman P4 is better Compared to the Leatherman P4, this product is a bit inferior.It’s a little wider than the P4, which makes less comfortable to use the pliers. Also, the handle has some sharp edges, while the P4 has rounded edges. All in all, this multitool is less ergonomic than the P4.The other tools are not bad, the steel seems to be better than the one in my P4 (that I lost).For the price, less than half the price of the P4, this is not a bad product. I miss my P4 but this will do.
