As advertised It works, no fluid, no cheap electronic starter. Holding the switch in position for 5 mins is a pain but itâs better than forgetting you left it on a burn your house down.

Must hold the unit, no walking away FIRE FIRE FIRE!!!! I got this charcoal starter since my last electric element one broke in half a few weeks ago, well let’s just say this is basically an electric Olympic torch. It started my charcoal in about 20 seconds and then caught the pecan wood I am using on fire in my big green egg. It is very powerful and I would give 5 stars if I could set it and walk away, but then my house would probably burn down so that is why the 4!
