Gibraltar Hardware has teamed up with Frank Parise drummer and inventor of the WingKey to bring you this one-of-a-kind adjustment tool. The “WingKey™”has a standard “drum key” socket on one end of the handle to accommodate any standard drum lug tuning nut. The body has a hexagonal ½ inch standard socket on one end, for tuning congas, bongos and timbales, and can also be used on all ½ inch nuts used on clamps, rack systems and seat thrones. The other end has a double slotted end to accommodate both large and small wing nuts. Truly the one tool every drummer and percussionist needs.

I was building a custom rack and I needed to … I was building a custom rack and I needed to tighten everything up once I finished. This one key does it all! A must have in my opinion. You can apply torque to things your hands just cannot do by themselves.
An essential tool if you have lots of rack hardware An amazing tool for tightening and loosening any Gibralter or Pearl hardware clamp or stand. It flips to go over wing nuts, big clamp bolts, and slim fitting drum key slots.
Every drummer & percussionist needs one! This tool allows me to get wingnuts & wingbolts tight enough to keep crappy hardware from slipping, but still get it back apart later. It adds leverage by giving you a longer handle to twist.It *barely* can be squeezed on Yamaha wingbolts. If it were just slightly larger it would be even better. It works great on my cymbal stands though, and fits my old beaten-to-a-pulp Gibraltar throne like a glove 😉
