Solid plates and bowls Nice enough plates. No chips or cracks in them and they feel sturdy. Only complaint is the matte finish. Due to the finish it allows knives to leave marks and cuts in the plate. The typical glazed finish protects better.
We really like this dishware We really like this dishware. Great color, thick, and nice looking. Only I would share that when you cut on the plate the color runs off and silver shoes through from your dinner utensils.
Great set but a bit heavy.. I love these plates, I have purchased two sets. I love the curved lip on all of the plates. I don’t have to worry about my food sliding or juices running off the plate, and if I need to cut meat I can use the lip to help keep it from sliding. The bowls are the perfect size! Deep but not too wide. The surface size of the large plates and dessert plates are the same as regular dinner and dessert plates, so the added lip doesn’t make the eating area smaller.
