You need one I’ve wanted an emergency shovel for the car for camping etc. Read a review and decided to get one. It’s the bees knees! First the head of the shovel is metal and harden steel. You can beat on this all day. The handle is the same polymer they make the gun from and again strong and made to take a beating. The handle expands from about 81/2 inches to 141/2 inches. There is also a 7 inch saw hidden in the handle as you can see in the pic. This saw works. This is no toy it’s a real solid tool…

Awesome light waight tool! Did rust however on my first use… I have had this tool for a while now, always kept it in my backpack for the “just in case” factor. Well, this last weekend, I finally got to test it out (on something more than some stuff in the backyard) while on a hunting trip. We rolled in late and the next day it snowed almost a foot! All day and night, it was amazing. While traveling around looking for a new spot to hunt (mid day), we came upon a stuck truck and immediately the shovel came to the rescue! As a hoe it was amazing scraping…

this is a very good design. I stopped carrying my old military E-tool … PROS: Looking at this only as an entrenching tool, this is a very good design. I stopped carrying my old military E-tool as a camping implement based mostly on its weight. The Glock tool is much lighter (at about 1 pound, 5 oz.) than most other modern competitors:
