- Use the USB and 12V ports at the same time. The Nomad 7 will split the incoming solar power between the two ports to charge devices simultaneously (Some devices may not be compatible)

Two Stars I had to return it as it failed to charge my Nexus 6 smartphone.
Outstanding revision to their earlier model Nice revision to their earlier model, this Nomad 7 Plus has a rear pouch that doubles as a stand. While solar panels without a stand are only a minor inconvenience, not having to pile up rocks, twigs, or ‘what have you’ to achieve the proper sun angle is definitely a plus. Only thing I would like to see is a looser pouch that allows better access for those of us with larger hands. Otherwise, OUTSTANDING!
Goal Achieved I just got home from a month of remote travel, with VERY high praise for the new 11800 Nomad V2.I exclusively used it to charge our GPS, cellphones, digital cameras, and Kindle Paperwhite.It packs down safely very fast, and deploys effortlessly in any scenario.A big ziploc bag allowed charging sensitive items literally out in the rain;While some days i hiked wearing my Nomad across my back, etc.It took a beating, worked flawlessly, and simply never disappointed.
