Gold Paw’s Stretch Fleece Dog Coats are superb year round popover jackets! This is truly a fantastic and useful garment that you’ll reach for over and over again. Made with recycled polyester and 7% spandex for a 4-way stretch. The finish is unbelievably soft, like velvet. It’s a piece of cake to put on and moves with your dog, making it the most comfortable coat around. SIZING TIP: This fleece is exceptionally stretchy! Many dogs fit better one size down from their regular size. If your dog is on the smaller side of the girth measurements and not a very wide breed (like a bully breed), we suggest sizing down. WEAR TIP: The center chest seam is designed to be on the outside – it’s a hefty seam and we wanted dogs to enjoy maximum comfort especially in that tender area. Machine wash, tumble dry low or hang to dry (dries super fast!).

Order by girth for good fit This is a nicely made lightweight fleece. It’s stretchy so easy to put on and with no velcro, collars, sleeves or other fussy stuff. Reviews said it runs large, so I ordered based on girth rather than length and the size 16 fits my 40# (20″ collar to tail) mixed breed shorthair perfectly. It’s the perfect fleece for Texas winters. The marine blue is less turquoise than it looks on my monitor but it still looks great on my black dog. Very happy with it!
Nice fleece, poor return policy I have another fleece by the same brand. It is a nice fleece, although overpriced for the amount of material and work to make it. I knew that and wanted a second one to have one in the wash. I received the wrong size and the return policy charged me for shipping and a restocking fee which equaled about 50%. Be sure you carefully order the right size or youâll be sorry.
Beautiful fleece, dog gets lots of compliments. Stretches out after wearing – size down! Super soft, dog 1 loves it! Easy to put on and wash. Dog 2 is not too impressed with anything we put on her, but she doesn’t hate it.Unfortunately the fleece stretches out so what originally fit very nicely turned into a fleece that was too big. My 37lb hound mix tried these on in the store and 18 seemed to be the perfect fit, so we went with that unfortunately.
