Embarrassed That I gave It as a Christmas Gift. Nothing Worked On It This would have been an excellent gift for the person I gave it to but it didn’t work. First of all to get the ratchet to work I had to “slide” the top button back, well that was a killer job, I pushed and pushed just to get that piece of plastic to move 1/8th of an inch, but once there the ratchet grip worked. I told the gift recipient to forget about going back to non-ratchet after what it took to get it there. As I demonstrated how the ratchet grip worked I tried to show her how to…
No Thanks Simple review: Received, examined and returned it for refund. Reason: Nothing worked; Rachet switch required a pry bar to move and locking button to keep the shank straight did not function at all. In short, a great concept that came up short in real world performance. Lesson: Try before you buy!
Almost perfect I got this as a replacement for a several-year-old grab-it tool that lacks several of the features this one has. This is almost perfect – and still a great upgrade to my previous version (see photos for comparisons). The ratcheting feature is a nice improvement, however the only reason this doesn’t have five stars is that the switch to engage the ratchet function is very difficult to use.
