This polyester taffeta hammock includes an attached no-see-um mesh canopy to keep bugs away and a Funky Forest polyurethane coated tarp to keep you dry. The hammock’s overhead suspension system assembles in minutes with reinforced corner grommets and 15 nylon-webbing takeoffs to provide multiple hanging configurations wherever you are.
Weighing just 22 ounces, the Air-Bivy is lightweight and compact for backpacking, is easy to set up, and dries quickly. Unlike sleeping in a tent or on the ground, the Air-Bivy keeps you suspended and dry under the tarp when the weather turns foul. The tarp can also be used independently as a sun or rain shelter. The attached no-see-um mesh keeps insects away, but you can use the hammock without the mesh by simply flipping it over.
The hammock hanging kit includes two 10-foot pieces of pre-knotted, 4.5-millimeter ropes for easy hanging. The tarp includes six aluminum tent stakes and a 14-foot guy line. The hammock measures 8 by 4 feet unfolded and can hold up to 250 pounds. The tarp measures 8.5 by 8.5 feet and is constructed of coated ripstop polyester.

Not very portable and mediocre finish I wanted to like this hammock by grand trunk and intended to use it for bike touring. However on my first attempt to use it I found that some of the sewing was coming apart and the straps were far too short for practical use. Also the carabiner’s were of very low quality. To add to these issues the hammock doesn’t come in a compression sack so when packed it ends up being just as large as 1-2person tents.The one redeeming factor for the hammock was that the material felt very soft…
I Love This Hammock! I’m new to hammock camping and I have to say I’m not going back! My biggest concern with hammock camping was the mosquitoes in my area are really bad. With this hammock, I can sleep without worrying about the bug bites. It’s very quick to setup and take down and is very comfortable!
Great! love it, never had any ripping or zipper issues! all you need to venture into the world of hammock camping. Im 5’7″ and about 220lbs plenty of room and feels safe and secure
