A mechanics best friend! I can’t imagine working on my truck without the Grypmat now. This product is simple and functional. Love how the flexible rubber conforms to any surface under the hood and oil+grease wipes right off! I used to always get so frustrated dropping and misplacing my tools. The bright orange color is great to keep all my tools in one place.
You would have loved to have had this on your last project! Saves time and frustration. I got my GrypMat and two smaller parts holders through their Kickstarter (or Indiegogo, I can’t remember which program). They arrived recently and I just had my first opportunity to use on a project– swapping out the condenser fan motor on my AC unit. I loved being able to put the small parts holders on the angled brick windowsills near my AC unit. Tools constantly slide or roll off that surface and it’s a giant pain. Until now. I only wish I had this thing 20 years ago! This tool holder is great and worth the cost – for me anyway. It is grippy, super flexible and the sides are high enough. I also like the four little side pockets to hold screws and nuts. It is a perfect helper for working on my little plane.I used to use a slab of foam rubber, but things would invariably roll off and once in a while scratch the paint. No more! Not to sound like a commercial, but this would make a great gift for a mechanic type friend.
