Made of highly conductive, lightweight aluminum with a hard anodized finish, the GSI Outdoors Halulite cooking pot from GSI Outdoors is an essential kitchen tool at the campsite or the cabin. The dual, locking, stainless steel bail handles are rubberized for a cooling grip, and the spiral-turned base grips stove and grill arms securely. Great for cooking pasta, the Halulite cooking pot’s lid includes integrated holes and silicone thumb pads for safe and easy straining. The Halulite cooking pot is available in three sizes:

Strong durable cook pots for backpacking I operate a wilderness trekking company in Alaska (Trek Alaska) and we really put gear to the test in the Alaskan backcountry. Cook ware is one thing that takes a beating. By the end of a season even brand new pots can be pretty banged up and misshapen.I have some Halulite pots that have gone through two seasons of hard use and still look like new. These pots DO nest! LOVE these pots! We have the 4.7L, 3.2L, and 2L pots, and just want to mention they all can nest inside one another. The 4.7L pot lid fits on top of the nest loosely in the stuff sack, but l assume most people will use these pots while camping, not backpacking, so this is probably a moot point for most people. Also love the fact the lid is Halulite as well (I assume), so draining boiling water did not warp/soften the lid. Attached are pics of the pots nested.

Great pot, crappy support Great pots! I bought the 4.7L and 2L sizes.I couldn’t tell for sure from the description, but there’s no nonstick coating, which I consider a big plus. The pots are solid anodized aluminum (except for the plastic bits which you can see in the picture). That means there’s no coating to eventually flake off and force you to buy replacements.
