Have been using these for years. A lot easier … Have been using these for years. A lot easier than finding the hook/holder. The heavy duty lasts a lot longer, have been using the one before this over 5 years and only the bungee between mic and the unit itself has broken. I have a paper clip in place of it now and will continue to use it this way until the unit doesn’t work anymore. Just bought one as a spare.
Awesome Bought this because of Ice Road Truckers show. That it was awesome how they could grab the mike and use it then let it go. Might sound silly but when your driving and trying to use you mike it makes life so much easier. Before i would have to lay it in a cup holder far away from me. Now it is easy to see and grab. No more searching for my mic!!! I am a diesel mechanic by trade, so I have seen a countless number of ways to retain a cb mic. While on trails in my Jeep, mine was either tied up with a small bungee cord slapping me in the head as I cleared obstacles or tossed in the passenger seat where it eventually made it’s way to the floor… This is the best solution I have seen by far.
