It was very easy to shake out At first I thought that the holes would be too large, but they are exactly right. We used this to spread diatomaceous earth at my son’s place. It was very easy to shake out, and it didn’t spread it too thin or too thick. It worked very well, and I’m sure that it will be useful for other applications as well.
Great bottle for snow salt Works 1000 times better than the solo cup i was using. Spreads more evenly. Wish the top holes had a twist close like baby powder bottles. But other than that works great and no other complaints. Hold a good amouth of salt.
Works well but plastic is weak Works well to spread salt on the sidewalk, however the plastic is very thin. It has not happened yet, but it feels like the handle is going to break soon. The salt is heavy, and the handle is thin plastic. The handle feels like it is on the brink of tearing every time I shake the spreader. The alternative is just to hold it with two hands around the middle, and avoid using the handle at all.
