it feels like a pad sponge mattress This self-inflating sleeping pad is as big as my full size bed. After self inflating, it feels like a pad sponge mattress, not very thick, about 1.5 inch, but satisfy my expectation for the outdoor camping at this price. The height of the pillow can be controlled by the air you blow in. It is little hard for me to extrude all the airs in the pads, the materials are really air-absorbing. compact as described.
I like camping, but do not like packing I like camping, but do not like packing. This mat is a lifesaver which I do not need to pack pillows and mat , extra comforter for next camping trip. It is almost a queen size. It also can be used as a sleep over mat. It is light and does not take while a lot of space to store. Awesome
It would be great for shorter-term use My memory foam matters keeps sinking, which became uncomfortable. I bought this to put over the top/ under the sheet to offer a little extra support. It worked really well. I only give it four stars because I keep knocking the inflation valve, causing it to deflate (though it automatically re-inflates once I get up).
