So I bought it I figured besides looking cool I could process food at camp with it. I bought some chicken leg quarters and this separated them very quickly and easily. Good chopper. Rough but serviceable I’m happy to report that this tool now comes with a brass lined lanyard hole. Adding a hand lanyard completely changes the nature of this beast from a mediocre chopper to an outstanding one. It can easily and repeatedly cut diagonally through 1.5″ dry hardwood branches with just a snap of the wrist while holding the last third of the handle braced against the hand lanyard for solid retention.
