I love it. The knife is good This has greatly increased the speed, ease and consistency of the most laborious part of the process. I love it. The knife is good, not great as far as holding a real sharp edge, but it’s good. The seasong is great. If you like to make beef jerky, this is a great help. My sister uses hers to fillet/open meats for making stuffed stuff.
Great alternative to the full sized meat slicers This was a gift for my husband and he raves about it every time he uses it! He said it has cut at least half the time it took to prepare his jerky now! He originally wanted a Publix sized meat slicer but we just didn’t have the room for one in our kitchen and that’s the great part about this board, it’s super easy to store and gets the job done. The only thing he mentioned was that the two sides meant to make two different thicknesses didn’t really make much of a difference, both sides pretty…
Makes my jerky a lot better. I really looked forward to getting this set and it has not disappointed. The knife is very long and very sharp-both good things. The board has two sides for thicker and thinner cuts. I do not use the thicker cut side and am still learning how to get the meat to the right degree of frozen for really even cuts but without this there was little chance of even cuts. I have not become comfortable using the extra cutting “holder” they provide. I am considering buying meat cutting gloves…
