Manufacture Warranty proposed resolution not reasonable. Had to order next size up because of width. Some what squeaky on the right heel. Wore 2 or 3 times a week 4-8 hours. At 3 months of wear fabric in right heel ripped and plastic heel cup came apart. Heel cup has now sliced or torn apart two sets of inserts also the speed lace on the left boot has bent twice and boots are very hard to use without the lacing at this level. Called manufacture, emailed manufacture, 5 days later replied. Please send in your boots (at your expense) if we determine…
Another great boot from Hi-Tec (see “UPDATE” in my review) I used to wear Hi-Tec boots all of the time years ago but for some reason I moved away from them. Well, I’m back! These fit perfectly, are comfortable, and completely waterproof. I have about 15 miles on them already and absolutely no problems. I think I will stick to Hi-Tec for my future boot needs.
Cheap laces, cheap lace hooks Poor quality laces are a minor detail, but mine did shred quickly. Otherwise, a solid pair of boots, as I hoped.
