The left boot had a defective lace hook. It is not indicative of a poor brand. The hiking boots were very comfortable when I got them but the top lace hook on the right side of the left boot broke off when I laced them up on the third day. I could have glued the hook back on but since I had the boots for less than a week I decided to exchange them. The exchange went far smoother than I could have expected and the replacement pair of boots were shipped before the defective pair was picked up. I have had the replacement pair for about two weeks and wear them during my 8…
Buyer beware. After wearing for about the third time,one of the eyelet hooks pulled through the leather. Since it has been 3 months I was told I can’t return it.
didnt last 2 months I have owned HiTecs for years n they have always lasted me in my journeys til now….These boots didn’t last 2 months before they started to come apart n separate at the sole….WTF…..
