Kestrel features waterproof and breathable AB-TEX Trimax laminate, specially developed for outdoor clothing and accessories. It allows moisture to evaporate while at the same time acts as an impenetrable barrier to the rain. AB-TEX ensures a high level of waterproofing while maintaining an excellent breathability rating that will provide protection from most weather conditions.

Four Stars Good bivi for the price. Relatively small for a rip stop bag.
Breathable AND water proof The best purchase ive made to date. While constantly seeking and testing products to sustain an outdoor life i came across this bivy. Like many who prefer sleeping in bivies there is the dreaded condensation that accumulates during a night’s sleep, So an idea came to me to utilize a breathable/waterproof and durable sack in one of me sleep systems, tried the SOL thermal bivy with little success (see review).
