The new Electro-Torch is the perfect grilling, camping, & RVing accessory. The Electro-Torch allows you to easily light your charcoal barbecue, wood burning fireplace, campfire or fire pit without using matches or starter fluids. The Electro-Torch has a dual ignition switch that allows you to ignite a fire in under one minute! Apply more heat and you’ll have a roaring fire in as little as 2-3 minutes. The first position generates super-heated air to ignite the fire. The second position produces high-velocity air flow to fan the flames. The Electro-Torch uses nothing but 1500° temperature hot air to ignite your wood or charcoal. You’ll never have to worry about tasting chemicals on your food or running out of starter fluid again! When your fire or charcoal starts to burn down, add more wood or charcoal and use the Electro-Torch to get it roaring again. The Electro-Torch has a special thermal protection feature. If the unit reaches an exceedingly high temperature that might damage the unit, the automatic thermal switch will be engaged and the unit will shut off. This can happen when the unit is running for extended periods or when excess heat has built up in the heating chamber. In approximately 15-20 minutes, the Electro-Torch will be cooled down enough to restart. The Electro-Torch has a 6′ long heavy gauge grounded power cord.

Gets a fire going in about 3-4 minutes I’ve used this so far about 10 times to start indoor fireplace fires and outdoor camp fires. I do use some kindling with newspapers to get the fire going. The instructions say to use the blower setting for 1-2 minutes after setting the wood/kindling on fire. However, I’ve found that I usually need about a food 3-4 minutes of it blowing on the fire to get the fire steadily going. It would be nice if there was a switch to hold it on for the 3-4 minutes as you have to hold the switch in the on…
Just as good as the higher priced brand! I purchased this after I had one of another more expensive brand burn out after 3 years. This one does just as good. I also like the multi speed button to give it a little extra boost when you back the lighter off of the coals. To those that had complained about it burning right away it was possibly user error. When I bought my first one the sales guy had told me not to bury the tip in the coals because it will cause the element to overheat. I put the tip near (1/4â – 1/2â) from the coals and…
