Packaged nicely & smells just like home! Got this candle as a gift for my friend who recently moved from Northern CA to CO. He’s been homesick and I thought this candle would be the perfect gift. It came in a cute black box (made it easy to wrap). The candle is a nice size but does not have a lid. The candle smells really good- kind of manly and musky. NC Scent isnât anything like the description I purchased this candle for my mother in law for Christmas since she was born & raised in NC until 1999 when they moved to OH.. once she opened the gift and took a smell of the candle she couldnât smell anything but a tobacco scent.. it was a huge waste of money, and a waste of a gift! If the candles werenât so overpriced I wouldnât write a review however this is one expensive candle to buy and it just smell awful!
Way better than I expected I didn’t think they could capture the smell of Florida. I only bought it because I had a gift card and was curious. I honestly thought I would get a candle that smelled like Orange Juice or something along those lines. But the candle is so much more complex. Yes, there is a definite hint of citrus, but it also has a woodsy, musky scent. It smells like sitting on your porch on a muggy summer night. It reminds me of fall camping trips, and long drives.
