Honey Badgers friction-less opening and closing action is facilitated by two opposing roller bearings containing a total of 18 ball bearings.

Very little effort using the thumb or index finger will allow you to open this liner lock knife with ease using only one hand.

There are two different ways to open the knife. The ball bearing based flipper mechanism and the elongated thumb hole.

Of course you could also open the knife the traditional two handed way holding the knife in one hand while pulling the blade open with the other. The 8CR13MOV steel used in this knife strikes a balance between fairly easily obtaining a sharp edge and retaining that edge while remaining rust resistant.

The deep pocket carry clip allows the knife to sit very deep in your pocket with only the top portion of the clip sticking out. This allows for very discrete carry.

The handle is made of FRN with a honeycomb texture allowing for a positive grip even with wet hands.

“FRN” (fiberglass-reinforced nylon), sometimes called “GFN” (glass-filled nylon), is a high-strength plastic especially well-suited to the handles of folding knives. Specifically, FRN is a nylon polymer mixed with glass fiber.

The knife comes in 3 different sizes to suit all hands, preferences and location of carry.

The knives come razor sharp and perfectly adjusted from the factory. Each knife comes in an attractive gift box complete with torx wrench tool should this be needed to adjust the opening and closing tension.

There is jimping on both the back of the knife where your thumb would normally come to rest as well as on the generous choil where your index finger would come to rest.

This combined with the honeycomb textured handles allows for a very positive and reassuring grip of the knife.

For the first time all of these features all come together in a reasonably priced product making this the ideal every day carry (EDC) knife.

Amazing!!! I only leave reviews when one is deserved being good or bad. This knife is phenomenal!!!. I am a borderline knife addict and this knife is one of the best knives I have ever owned. I have at least 1 knife from most high end knife makers including Rick hinderer and Chris Reeves. This knife is offcoarse not made of the same higher end steel as those but the fit and finish is impressive and the design of this knife….is the my favorite among all the knives i own. The gimping and finger choil,…

Sweet knife! #his could be among the best knife deals out there. While this isn’t a Benchmade or a Henderer, it is every bit as nice as most everything CRKT offers and approaches some Spyderco Byrd models. The FRN scales are really very well textured. The blade on both knives I ordered was perfectly centered and the flipper works like a charm. The steel is barely adequate or barely inadequate depending on your philosophy, but rest assured, Honey Badger knives are a deal!

Honey badger don’t give a $#!+ Perfect EDC. I have a number of knives and pocket tools that I use and take to work with me daily. I have been rotating between a number of knives each with a feature that I love. To give an idea, my most carried had been a benchmade mini griptilian with a deep carry clip. One day I thought I lost the small flashlight I carry and was genuinely upset. I quickly realized that if the $60 flashlight could ruin my day, what would a $110 knife do? The hunt began. This is the best sub $30 knife ever…
