Good For Warm Hiking Fabric is a little noisier than I like when hiking, but not anoying. I was afraid it would be too warm for a hot day, but it was fine on 89 degree hike. The zipper to convert to shorts is just at the right spot between the thigh and knee. I’m heavy and things tend to rub in the wrong places, but these were just fine. I haven’t tried the shorts yet. The double cargo pockets are positioned well and the velcro close flap seals well. At the same time the fabric is soft enough to tuck in the top so…
