While this book is presented as a “how to” publication. It is in fact only a couple of knifemakers’ accounts of how to make two of their favorite knives. Any aspiring multi-blade folder maker must understand right up front that following our “recipes” will not assure comparable results – mine doesn’t even work the same way for me every time. Neither do those who have found some measure of success with these folders all use the same techniques. It has become apparent that there are nearly as many ways to make a folder as there are foldermakers. Our goal in writing this book is to help the knifemaker struggling to make multi-blades find some useful information herein that will help him find his own way through the process.
