Hults Bruk Swedish Axes Torneo Ax
The Hults Bruk Torneo is a compact felling axe intended for bringing down or cutting up small to medium sized trees.
This item has an axe head weight of 1.75 Lbs and a handle length of 26 inches. The head is the product of blasted and clear-lacquered ironwork and the curved shaft is made of US-sourced hickory. That handle is treated with linseed oil.

Quality Axe, buy if you want a great axe Awesome tool. Qulaity at its best for dollar to performance ratio.

Quality for a low price First thing i noticed was the exceptional grain orientation. Head was hafted on the handle correctly, not even the slightest gap nor crack in the wedge. After using it for about a month now. I’ve felled several trees and bucked up 7″ in diameter logs then split them. The head is a little light, but for a backpacking axe it’s perfect. To test edge retention i cut through a seasoned 8″ hickory log and restored the edge with nothing more than a leather belt and some stropping…
