Great knife, not so great sheath. The knife itself is very good quality. Sharp out of the box, holds an edge well, and the handle is quite comfortable. The knife is slightly handle heavy, but that’s not really a plus or a minus just whatever your personal preference is. The reason it doesn’t get five stars is because of the sheath. The sheath is decent quality and has good retention, but the straps that attach it to the belt are pretty crappy. The sheath is just velcro’d to your belt, and I had worries that it may fall if…

Interesting blade design, inadequate sheath retention Having purchased several dozen knives over the past few years I’ll go ahead and call myself a collector. I bought the “Sentinel” knife in the HX Outdoors series because the blade geometry intrigued me. I’ll start with the box it comes in which is a nice thick cardboard set-up with a magnetic open/shut. Best knife I have had ever Need… moar… stars. Best knife I have had ever, comes scary sharp (I honed it even sharper btw). No rough edges, meaning no pieces of metal were it shouldn’t be. All parts of the knife are thoroughly finished.
