So much better than the ones that adjust with the cord in the back I have several i play sun hats for my son (they get temporarily lost fairly frequently), and it took me a while to find a toddler-sized one (2-4 yrs) with an elastic band on the back. We had a 6-18 month one and loved that hat. Perfect Hat! i play sun hats are the only ones I buy my kids. The ties are nice and long, making them easy to tie and keep either tighter or looser. This hat in particular has the neck protection, which is really helpful on those hot days when the sun is shining down on a hunched down toddler, who is intensely playing in the sand/dirt/mud/water/whatever they can explore and get their hands into!

great hat 🙂 having a Hard time finding a good sun hat to fit my 6m old but got this to see how it’d go and otherwise my 3y/o could use it— which has worked out. I like the way it works stretchy band in back, the flaps to hang to cover baby/kids neck, and then the front part to keep the sun out of eyes.
