hands get dirty all the time from that aluminum on the bottles … don’t buy … the finish inside the cage where it comes in contact with the water bottles wears out after a while and the water bottles get ruined from rubbing on the aluminum … hands get dirty all the time from that aluminum on the bottles which lead to getting your clothes and the tape on the handle bar dirty and so on … I have never lost a water bottle out of these cages but I had to throw away 4 bottles which is about the same with loosing them …

Lightweight and hold bottles tight and look great These are exactly what I was looking for. They look nicer than the old metal tube bottle holders and they hold bottles much better than the old style holders. If you like Gatorade, these hold a 20 oz Gatorade bottle as if they were designed to. The price is tough to beat on these and for the price I don’t think you’ll find a better looking or lighter bottle holder for the price. Good inexpensive cages, but the paint comes off on your water bottles. Like most people, I wanted some carbon-looking cages for my carbon road bike without having to spend hundreds of dollars to save a few grams. To that end, these work perfectly – I’ve done almost 4,000 miles with them and they still grip the bottles just fine.
