Shovel Head bends easily. I purchased two of these shovel picks for my kids to use while we were metal detecting. They are compact and easy to set up and use. The shovel cuts into the dirt very easily, better than our garden trowel. Perfect for prepping, camping and hiking. The shovel is great for prepping, camping or hiking. There are a couple of better and a couple or worse options but this one is somewhere in the middle. This was not the first time that I ordered this folding shovel along with others. Every single time when I buy this exactly one, the stem of the folding system deeply scratches the middle of the shovel head and then if the system gets wet, then you will see rust develop.
