This igloo is the best cooler we can find for our boating needs This igloo is the best cooler we can find for our boating needs. The reach-in top allows you to grab a cold bottled water or soda without opening the entire cooler. Recommend buying the metal hinges for the lid as the plastic ones tend to not last as long as needed. Once we changed out the hinges, the cooler lasted about 3 years with continual use on a charter boat.
